WHAT WE DO
SERVICES WE OFFER
Hormone Health, Weight Loss, and Functional Medicine Clinic in Colorado Springs
Apollo Medical Associates is a holistic hormone health, weight loss, and functional medicine in clinic. Our highly trained medical professionals provide hormone replacement therapy, comprehensive medical weight loss, and integrative and functional medicine services.
Hormone Replacement Therapy
Men and women are both subject to declining hormones with age, which can cause a range of problems. From sleeplessness to mood swings to forgetfulness, hormone replacement therapy can often help alleviate your symptoms. We approach your hormone health comprehensively and draw labs conveniently in our office. We test key hormones that can relate to your symptoms and develop a hormone replacement therapy plan for you. Such a plan might include testosterone replacement, menopausal therapy, or PCOS treatment.
Medical Weight Loss
Medical Weight Loss uses medication, supplementation, and medical diet to approach weight loss. Traditional weight loss methods may be failing you, or perhaps for medical reasons you need to lose a lot of weight quickly. With medical weight loss our clinic in Colorado Springs approaches your needs with specific treatment to safely keep your body in balance while you lose excess weight. This might involve Phentermine or HCG supplements, injections, and dietary and exercise recommendations for safe weight loss.
Functional medicine assesses an individual’s full function of the body and its organs, using insights into genetics, environment, and lifestyle influences to determine a holistic approach to comprehensive healing. It takes into account the unique makeup of each individual patient to determine the best method of treatment including nutrition, diet, and exercise regimens. With patient-centered care, rather than symptom-centered, our functional medicine doctor evaluates internal and external factors to diagnose, prevent, and treat complex diseases through the integration of best medical practices.
COVID – 19 APPOINTMENT CHANGES.
Dear Apollo Medical Patients,
In light of recent events with COVID-19, Apollo Medical Associates will be making changes in the way that we conduct our appointment to best serve our valued patients. Our top priority is to stop the spread of coronavirus and keep our patients safe, while remain available. These changes will be made in order to do our part to “flatten the curve” of coronavirus transmission. Slowing the rate of spread of the virus via social distancing will reduce the strain on hospital systems that don’t have the capacity to handle a huge spike in the number of patients requiring hospitalization. The main focus will be to change to Telemedicine (TM) appointments whenever possible. We will be implementing this for all visits from 3/16 – 3/27. After this time, we will reevaluate based on the most up to date information.
The TM appointments are done online from home. Either a smartphone or a computer with a camera can be used for the appointment. Good Wi-Fi or LTE cell signal is also a must. Please continue to schedule appointment by calling 719-477-3135. The TM appointments will be initiated through a link included in an email or text message sent a few minutes prior to the appointment. You will receive a text to establish connecting at the time of your appointment. Also, you can login to https://AWR.doxy.me/hagerd for PA Denver Hager or https://AWR.doxy.me/dillr for PA Rob Dill. They will see you in the waiting room and invite you to the visit around the appointment time.
‘Regular’ office visits: these will be automatically converted to TM visits. Most visits for hormone management or follow up visits can be done effectively without the patient being present in the office. Please call or email to cancel your appointment if you believe that these limitations will negate the value of your appointment.
New Patient Appointments: After careful consideration, we will also be changing new patient appointments to TM appointments. If you do not feel this will work for you, please let us know.
Payments: Michelle will the day of your appointment for payment. Please have credit card information available for her.
Medication pick up: We will be sending prescriptions to local pharmacies. Please try to provide at least 7 days lead time. One exception will be pellet insertions. These will be scheduled in the clinic if needed.
Lab draws: We will also be discontinuing lab draws in office. All lab orders will be sent to Quest or Labcorp draw facilities for people needing labs. Michelle will reaching out to make sure that these patients have the proper information regarding these appointment.
Immune response: Helping to support healthy immune response is very important. Below is a list of what I feel are the best supplements to support immune response. Most of these products can be ordered from our webstore if you do not wish to venture out. Please visit Wolescripts.com and use our passcode and provider name when making your account for access.
Provider name: Snyder
I would recommend considering the following:
Vitamin D3, 5,000–10,000 IU daily.
Vitamin C, 1 gram twice per day.
Zinc, 30mg per day
If you develop mild viral symptoms I would recommend using either Immune Essentials from Xymogen. This is designed to be used once you have developed viral symptoms. This is a naturally derived beta 1,3/1,6 glucan plus standardized olive leaf extract and vitamin C as ascorbic acid. These ingredients support the body’s natural immune mechanisms to help maintain good health. This formula is designed to be taken short term. Another good product is Wellness which is made by source naturals. This is available in tincture, capsules, and tablets. The normal adult dose is 3 tablets 3 times a day. Again this is only used for acute symptoms.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
